Few members on GS have any idea of immigration and visa related issues. You should find another place to get better answers.

I dont even know what a "tier-2" visa is.. but yes I'd read in a paki paper that the visa processing is being heavily delayed..

And yes, you might have got some answers if your number of posts would be in some 3-4 digits, its an irony @ GS.. :(

I have no idea about that sitting in Pakistan. I could have found out about it if it was from Dubai or something.

I just read that visa applications from Pakistan, India and a few other countries have been temporary banned but I think those are for Tier 4 student visas. I am not sure if it applies to Tier 2 as well.

well tier 2 is a new name for WORK PERMIT TO uk..its been 3 mnths since i have applied..it goes to abu dhabi for processing and then comes to british high commisson isb for further processing. but BHC ppl are not even telling that what is the problem

I read this info from this online website. My dad is thinking of applying for a Tier-1 visa for the UK. Immigrant visa for Highly Skilled people. I was looking up information for him and came across various newspaper articles on it.

abu dhabi ppl told me tht my application was processed in june now the BHC ppl r takin time
i dun knw y and wat r they doin...
