Kashmiri chai is the same as green tea (namkeen chai) although Kashmiris also drink "kahwa". Tea in Kashmir is drunk is small round cups, without handles.

dude-i've had the kahwa in muzaffrabad, beautiful place......but some bad memories of ice-cold showers, bugs in my bed & a fear of churails......lol
