Me and my mates were once passing by the city but could not enter it, due to the occupation. Maybe the city is not as good as it looks. Not everything that looks good, feels good. I asked myself what is really nice in the city; In Jerusalem, there is the merchant from Georgia who sells vegetables; there is the 'Torah' and the Old man from Manhattan teaching it to the young boys from Poland; In Jerusalem, there is the policeman from Ethiopia who is closing down the souk (outdoor market/bazaar where u buy groceries); In Jerusalem, there is the settler with his armed gun, who is barely 20 years old; In Jerusalem, there is the Blonde tourists that really don't see the city.
Thats the translation of the first 70-90seconds. The whole poem is about politics.
