Diva, travelling with a toddler would make anybody anxious! Our daughter is now 3 and I've done alot of flying with her-only domestic though. Hopefully your child will sleep for most of the flight unlike my daughter. Bring a small magna-doodle pad and lots of fun snacks including a lollipop. Candy calms the wild beast within!
seriously though saima. Just think about it. It’s like someone pushing you from a 100 story building. As you are falling, you know the pain you are about to feel. The plane doesn’t all of a sudden just drop out of the sky. So can you imagine what goes through a person’s mind as the plane is speeding toward earth.
If you do take dear kind Atlanta's advice and think of those things ^
you can take something called "rescue remedy" which is a concoction of extracts of flowers from the "bachs flower remedies range"
the "rescue remedy" alleviates anxiety and come in a little spray (like mouth freshener) or a little bottle with pippette and you put a couple of drops on your tongue and a few minutes later the anxiety is gone.
^ Id hate to sit next to someone like you, All I want is to relax and take some time out to gather my thought and think for a while ............. I'd hate to have some babbling stranger talking to me about their insignificant little lives:)
Try and think of the things you'll be doing on your trip. I hope it is a 'vacation'/pleasure' trip that you're going on so you can think about the places to visit/the shopping/eating out etc.
Basically think of all the fun you'll be having. That always gets me excited :)
Diva I hear ya. I'm getting really stressed about my trip to the middle east coming up in a few weeks as well. I dunno, divert your attention before the trip. Spend time with friends, family. Hope it goes away. And if you have found something that works, please let me know as well!!!
