No, he won't take 50 wickets in international cricket, he doesn't have pace, and can only swing it one way. Don't let the faulty shots of the indians fool you, it will be hard for him to get LBW in international cricket, and int'l players r not prone to being bowled.

You and your comments, remember he is only 18 and he was bowling at the speed of mid n low 80s. Even Asif and Rana bowl at 85 and 86. I think Anwer has potential, we need him in the team ASAP.

Although he has not got pace but he got huge amount of turn of the ball. In fact, he is spinning the ball rather than swing much and hence he is called "Fast Spinner" of the ball.

him and akhtar ayoub are very exciting prospects.
but jamshed ahmad exictes me the most because he is honestly a wasim akram clone... he even LOOKS like the guy. his action is verrrry similar to wasim as well.
i think the next generation of pakistani players are gonna be incredible bowlers because they've grown up idolizing wasim and waqar.

Well, he's got the potential to be a good bowler at the international level. He really was swining ball from out side off stump into the wickets. Not bad for an 18 years old guy.
