Which antivirus would be best for macbook pro? I tried searching online but many ppl suggest mac doesn’t need antivirus. is this true???

As far as I know there is no need for an anti-virus for Mac.

That is not *strictly *true. Every system should be protected against these kind of threats, but it is well known that Macs aren’t really prone to these kind of attacks like Windows is… also installing AV software would inevitably have some sort of an effect on system performance, hence some people don’t bother installing it at all. So it really depends how you see it…

No need for AV ... avoid running scripts ... just don't install useless stuff ( 4m un trusted source)
