Mushy came to the states and was answering questions by Pakistanis. One guy brought the question of Kaala Bagh Dam or some dam, and Musharraf scolded him for depriving poor Punjabis of “their” water.
The problem with Pakistan and its politics is not dissension and propaganda – which I think is the case behind these protests – but how it’s responded to. Federal govt. could flatten Bugti’s but it’d only feed fuel to the fires of other “interest” groups and give ammo. to their propaganda campaigns.
What Pakistan and PAKISTANIS needs is better dialog amongst each other and discussion of what’s behind these strikes.
