Dear friends,
lately i have come across many videos and demos on youtube which are anti islam and leave no stone unturned abuse the holy Quran our beloved prophet(pbuh) and the greatest one who has no equivalent Allah swt.
This hurts me to no end and has my heart burning because of the message being portrayed by some who claim to be muslims earlier but now converted due to their so called “judgement” on our Quran, which they feel is extremely violent and hate mongering.
I need your views on this
as i find it extremely hurting

Don't go searching for stuff like this. There are millions of vidoes that show the true picture of Islam on youtube, yet you end up looking at anti islamic propaganda?

but dont forget that this will always continue till the end of days
and its only gonna make Islam stronger not weaker since Allah is protecting the Quran not us human beings and Allah ka laakh laakh shukkar for that.
I think best is to ignore it.

If your belief is strong & true why do you care what others say ?

Stop listening and watching those videos, most of them posted by Jewish and Arab Christians pretending to ex-Muslim.
Today we want other to revert to Islam by spread Islam by CD/DVD and internet site....even though we have no Islam in our life. The best thing for you to do is practice Islam and teach people about Islam in person by your actions, when you are in Market, School, College, University, at Job, not only internet.

even if they are truely ex-muslims whats the big deal ? some of them have ulterior motives ( wafa sultan !) others are murtads but outwardly are muslims ( fatima mernissi) and some others want to make a joke out of religion ( irshad manji)
if ur hurting u need to know a little more about islam ( i was at that stage too ) and once u get there u will just laugh at these videos

It’s natural (and I think it’s positive) to feel anxious when seeing things like this. There are indeed countless efforts to try to defame Islam on youtube (not to mention other places).
However, I am more in favour of paying attention to the lies they make against Islam instead of ignoring them - ignoring them is almost impossible. Their lies are usually based on common misconceptions or are deliberate attempts to slander our faith. Shouldn’t we do what we can to dispel this and defend Islam?
Also, the internet is a powerful and far reaching tool that they use. Why don’t we use it, too? In fact…
I wanted to draw your attention to a huge amount of material, also on youtube, by young Muslims, intellectually refuting these lies and falsehoods about Islam SubhanAllah! They work, study diligently, and bravely produce videos and engage with these people to prove them wrong** in front of the people**. Maybe more of us should do the same instead of just ignoring the problem?
I think it’s all about channeling the frustration in the best way, that sets a brilliant example to non-Muslims.

I also use to feel extremely hurt and depressed when I saw that kind of thing. I use to think how can ppl be so twisted? What satisfaction do they get out of desecrating something so dear to us?
But it’s made me more concious of who I am, and made me a stronger believer and more proud of my Islamic identity, it motivated me to learn about my religion and to learn to defend it and stand up for what I believe.
You should also do the same, learn the basics of Islam and do a comparative religion and dawah course, below is a good website for dawah and comparative religion.
Have faith in Allah, know that Allah is the ultimate authority and all will return to Him in the end, He might have given those that hate Him and His religion liberty for a while but as they say in Urdu “Allah ki laathi beawaaz hoti hai”…
Islam had worser enemies in the time of the Prophet :saw2: but none of them could stop Islam, Islam continues to grow whilst Abu Jahl and Abu Lahb (and Pharoe and Namrood) will burn eternily in the depths of Hell…
As they say in Hindi “Ant mein vijay sat ki hi hoti hai” (In the end the truth always prevails).
Just as Abu Jahl failed, the enemies of Islam today are also going to fail.
Muslims are the most passionate, proud and serious about their religion compared to all other religions, even those Muslims that can’t always practice it still resect it and believe in it…
Islam continues to grow despite the propoganda, Alhamdulillah I know so many white brothers and sisters who have embraced Islam.
Learn, practice and propogate your religion by following the noble, kind and gentle manners of our Prophet :saw2: who was Rehmat Al-Aalameen, our duty is only to convey the message whether people listen or not is their choice, if they don’t the loss is their own, don’t worry your head over it.
Make Islamic blogs and websites and try and outdo the anti-Islam stuff with pro-Islam stuff so that when people search for Islam they come across your positive stuff on Islam. If you don’t know much about Islam yourself then reproduce and distribute the works of Islamic scholars.
PS. Most the people who claim to be ex-Muslims are just Anti-Muslim propogandaists who happen to know Arabic, millions are being spent by anti-Islamists to make anti-Islamic propoganda material on the net, cd’s, newspapers, leaflets etc. but Allah will never let their plans be succesful.
