This arguement could be used and is used by the WEST too..they only conqour to spread the justice of democracy and modernity.....
I don't think musilms invaded only for that. Further, if you look at history more people converted to islam through interactions of our the merchants and shipping/traders not through the sword.
I agree with Chang-ez...I'd be interested to see if the patch is a normal part of the uniform of this troup or the spanish army due to their history...rather than just put on for the iraq invastion.
