So I read about Xanax in a post in life1, its anti-anxiety and anti panic medicene and how Paheli said after taking it she cant get upset at anything for the whole day even if she wants to.
So this just struck me, what if I take a pill on my wedding day? Would I be so cool and relaxed about everything with no tensions and get no panic attacks when I have to go upto the stage?

why would you have panic attacks? Unless you are not sure or not happy with your spouse to be... I would recommend against any anxiety meds. Be normal, act normal, you will be fine.

I wont be having panic attacks because Im not happy but I feel so extremely nervous…
Its hard to be normal, act normal when you have to face some 500 guests on a stage 
On my engagement I got so nervous when I had to walk to the stage with just 50 guests that too close relatives, I dont know what I’d do on the wedding

Have green tea to calm your nerves and read 2 rakat nafals and pray to Allah all goes well

Dont go near PILLS ever.. any kind of Pills.. !!! People destroy them selves gradually having pills..
You will panic only you are not happy with your spouse.. or do not have good friendly talk before hand..
And if 500 guests you see.. think they all are STUPID.. and you are the Hottest, clever person.. just think in your heart.. not out loud.. or rotten eggs might hit you :P.. kidding..
You have to think postive to uplift your attitude..
This Pills blocks your emotional cells, thats why no nervousness happens, but its harmful in later stage.. So AVOID Pills..
If you get Panic, no problem that is natural.. a guy always like natural stuff.. and your spouse will help you, make you comfortable etc..etc.. that is cute and great feeling..
I am a guy too, and if my girl panics, i will be there, give her comfy feeling, so she doesnt feels panic.

Have you ever heard of Kalms? They're a rock candy thing you take, kinda like Strepsils and it supposedly calms you down. I take them before exams and I haven't collapsed yet :D

The simple answer to your question is yes. Whether its wedding day, exam day, engagement day...whatever.....the effects of the medication isn't different b/c of the event. And whether or not this is a good idea is all a mater of individual feelings towards medication. I know people who've taken it during many types of different "important events".
But as with ANY medication, it's a BAD idea to take it for the 1st time on that important day. You'll need to take it several times before ti know for sure how your body/mind will react. And of course, make sure you talk to your doctor so the dosage can be monitored.
BTW, I was planning on taking it on my wedding day but thanks to all the rush, I forgot to pack it and didn't have it at the hotel the night before (it makes you sleepy to it needs to be taken at night). My wedding day was super stressful and I was extremely nervous. But I survived and got through it. All brides do. So if the one and only reason you're considering medication is for the wedding day alone........then my personal opinion would be that it's not worth all the hassle.

I’m not sure about all other drinks,but man…for me Greentea is strong with it’s diuretic effects!i don’t want to sit on stage,and tighten up my spintcher for like hours!eeee!but maybe that would divert my attention from the 500 people sitting infront of me!

If it helps at all.. I was PETRIFIED on my engagement day, and it was a v small function. I just hated having all eyes on me and people's cameras on me.. I went really red and I started to get a nervous cough kind of thing and then my eyes started watering. So everyone must have thought I looked really unhappy, but it was just nerves. So after I'd been through that I had a few months before the wedding to calm down.. Funnily enough I considered taking some sort of tablet too, but I was a bit scared of looking doped out on my wedding day and wasn't sure how I would have reacted to it, so I chickened out. The good thing with our long winded weddings is that there are a number of functions before the actual wedding day. The mayuun was a small family event with just women so I was surprisingly calm and happy that day,I treated it a bit like a rehearsal. The Mehndi day so much goes on anyway, so people aren't staring at you throughout. What amazed me is on the wedding day I was SO happy, over the moon and on cloud 9. I'd delegated everything on the day to my parents so that I wouldn't need to stress about anything... From the moment my MUA started my makeup I just went with the flow and enjoyed it.. The whole day went like a dream and I was smiling genuinely even on the stage with everyone watching. The only person that mattered was my husband next to me, and it was just magical :). The same thing will happen to you iA.. You don't need any anti anxiety meds. Just plan what you can beforehand, and then on the day enjoy every minute because you won't get it back.

I'm nervous too for my engagement party. I don't like being the center of attention and having all eyes on me, nor was I expecting the guest list to explode to over 150 people. My mom takes passion flower extract whenever she feels nervous or anxious, I may try that just to calm me down.

100% agree... enjoy all da love, attention and hype. start praying 2 nafals everyday before your big day so that evrything goes fine.... worked for me Alhamdulilah :)

People Shouldn't have anti anxiety or anti depressant pills just because they felt like having it that day. It's prescribed for a reason. I really don't think you need it otherwise everybody in the world would take medicines because they were NERVOUS :-)..
Its your big day! Talk to your hubby to be, your friends and your parents. Tell them to keep you calm. Baki agar chaltey chaltey hasi ajaye toh hus lena ;-).. Hum sab kartey hain. Good luck and Look Gorgeous on your big day.

anti depressant medications take from a week to two weeks to take effect. and withdrawal must be gradual and under a doctor supervision. one tab here and there will make no difference. if someone misses a dose or two then it will take again sometime to be effective again. these medications must be taken under a doctor's strict supervision. they are not meant for experimentation.
