I’m on Anthony Hopkins binge for past month or so. Have been watching all his movies that I had not before. I must say, this guy tops any other actor I’ve seen so far. From his roles in Remains of the Day to Howard’s End, he seamlessly absorbs himself into the character and you see an entirely new person playing the role.
I’m watching Shadowlands presently (couldn’t finish last night) and was amazed by his command over delivering dialogues with slight “sharp and wity fluctuations” in the words that usually is a characteristic of writers.
ok i have seen only silence of the lambs and i found his acting quite lame. apart from his oratory skills there was barely anything more
to him in that movie. a lot of the extraordinary acting there was just plain good lighting, if you watch properly.
Roman, I am very proud of you. You opened a thread on Sir Anthony Hopkins and didn't mention 'Silence of the Lambs'. That is just pure class on your part. I knew you were special, but this special?.

Ullu, I said, "Have been watching all his movies that I had not before". dikhaee nahi daita tujhay kia?
Good thing, Roman did not mention “Silence of the Lamb”, cz then that would be one movie which we all (ordinary mortals) would have seen. Roman likes to keep it exclusive. Great job! :k:
