Q 1) i have been told that one must pray a namaaz for example zuhar namaaz atleast 30 mins before asar commences. iz dat correct??? what i mean is that how long for can one delay zuhar namaaz for arguments sake before finally praying it keeping in mind asar namaaz will commence shortly!!! <<< hopefully dat made sence…
FAJAR: the glow of their face is taken away.
ZOHAR: the blessing of their income is taken away.
ASAR: the strength of their body is taken away.
MAGHRIB: they are not benefacted by their children.
ISHA: the peace of their sleep is taken away.
I have tried to find out the answer to this one myself. Its a bit vague. While we should all try to pray the farz namaz "awal waqt" (earliest possible time), instead of waiting till the last, one imam saheb I asked said that the time of zuhr remains till the asar adhaan. Another said, it remains till your shadow becomes twice your size. Wallah o Aalim.
Well, if you haven't prayed a farz namaaz, then obviously you should pray it at the first available time.... but that does not mean its still the right time for that. For example, the time of Maghrib is relatively short. If you haven't prayed, then you must pray it when you can, but the "asal waqt", right time is extremely short after the sunset. So it will be "qaza".
I heard that you should pray your namaz as soon as possible. because those who wait till the last minute hypocrites. and
"The Hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire: no helper wilt thou find for them;-

the time to pray zuhr remains till the time for asar....
and the time for asar is the time when ur shadow becomes twice ur length....
hanafis prefer to pray asar at a later time, hence the second imam made it clear by the shadow's length (which in fact is the real time for asar, but hanafis prefer to be sure the time is right and pray it a bit late)....
