hes this right wing hack who provides ideological cover for the worst kinds of pseudo religious causes most recently this Quran burning cause. which i'd ignore but hes also investigative editor of Pakistan's largest english language newspaper and a permanent fixture on GEO. you can judge the quality of his editing btw by the headline. 'Let's us see'... Let us us see then.

Here is my analysis
1. Toss was really important because pressure would double for team chasing target. Losing toss was not a good begining
2. Loss of toss was however undone by good bowling by Riaz and others
3. But the good bowling was undone by dorp catches and Gul's wayward spells
4. Damage done by drop catches and Gul was however undone by a good opening start by Hafeez and Akmal
5. Good start was undone by Akmal trying to become superhero (to avoid getting axed after the world cup)
6. The damage Akmal caused by undone by some clean hits by Hafeez
7. Hafeez effort was undone by his crazy shot that no one should dare try if you are in such an important match
8. That damage could not be undone, added to it was the fact that captain did not take the power play while big hitters were on the crease.
9. Misbah did not have much option so he decided to stay on the wicket for as long as possible, hoping for a miracle.

With 118 needed in 17 overs and five wickets in hand, Umar Akmal, Razzaq and Afridi to come, Pakistan should have one if either on these three had scored 30-40 quick runs but Indians bowled well and all credit to them. It was hard chasing and difficult for lower order batsmen with softer ball, low bounce pitches and large grounds. So batting second was a huge factor.

Ansar abbasi and people like him are such a pain….they are simply creating more and more confusion in pakistani nation, which is already bamboozled between Zia’s version of “sectarian Islam” and mushraff’s “enlightened moderation”….the core of our society has become a ‘schizophrenic society’ living in denial and ready to blame every problem on other’s shoulders or attributing it to a logical result of our sins…anyway few questions for this this abbasi:
1) Aussies won 3 world cups in a row….not only 95% of them are “kafirs” but they also do everything that abbasi does not believe…from drinking to having sex to eating pork to thriving on interest-based economy…allah apparently listened to their prayers but refused to listen to ours while majority of us are not involved in these activities anyway…
2)OK forget aussies and hindus….there is a bigger problem abbasi jee…what about india..they have freakin 200 million Muslims (more than us)…so what is the deal? Is Allah mian listening to them and not to us? Yae to bari problem ho gayee abbasi jee…because if we extend abbasi’s logic, one can interpret that Allah mian is unhappy with Pakistanis because they created Pakistan and divided Muslims thus putting them at disadvantage in India…..balah blah
3)So pakistan has won 70 times vs india’s 46….apparently Pakistanis were more pious on those 70 occasions…just 6 years ago, we beat Indian in india by 4-2….that is when musharaf was in full power and every other home in islamabad, lahore and karachi's posh area was having a party with booze....
The reason I am so upset is because it is not about abbasi only…the urdu press is also filled with so many similar rubbish articles….that is fine if we want to blame india and Usa for everything but for godsake don’t bring Allah. Quran and Mohammed into all this Abbasi jee….reham karo hum par bee aur apnay opar bhee...
