^ Not a ‘move’, but a due course! Victim’s family registered FIR against the Mian Iftikhar, and apparently witnesses from the crime scene also named him as the main perpetrator. Hence the arrest. If he’s done nothing wrong, after investigation, he’ll be released.
Maybe Model Town Massacre and presence of Rana Sanaullah type characters made people believe that FIR is supposed to be a joke!

If a political worker dies in Punjab…the responsibility goes to the provincial party AND the central govt. All the top hierarchy of both govts must resign otherwise anything can happy.
If a political worker dies in KPK… the opposition party leader is responsible and is arrested.

So you are assuming that Imran ordered police to arrest Mian Iftikhar? Police in KPK is independent to take actions and it may very well be wrong decision which should be investigated but there is a reason Punjab government is blamed for political arrests as they are well known for using Punjab police as their political force which is definitely not the case in KPK (Most neutrals admit that).
Mian Iftikhar doesn’t come across as a criminal person and is definitely one of the better ones amongst incompetent and corrupt ANP so i am quite surprised about his arrest, there is apparently a video of him inciting violence but i don’t understand Pashto so not sure what he is saying and if it’s even him.

Um.. how many PTIans were arrested by this so-called “nuetral” police? 
What about the poor guy who got killed by PTI walas’ hawai firing??
If no PTIan is arrested for either of 10+ killings and many injured that i believe both of conditions are simultaneously true, and i’m counting on yr statement for this:
- Police in KPK is nuetral
- Ppl in PTI are total angels .. cuz nuetral police didnt apprehend anyone from them
- Mian Iftikhar hussain and other from KPK opposition parties are actually fasadi cuz im sure those killings must be done by one-way attacks from these parties. The party of angels offered no resistance wutsoever.

^^^Just read a PTI winning candidate has been arrested over pelting stones at ANP candidate’s car and in a different incident a case has been registered against PTI MPA for rigging.
This is the proof that KPK police is working independently which is not possible in Punjab and Sindh. In addition to this KP Accountability Commission recently arrested PPP’s ex provincial minister and current PTI’ MPAs father.
Imran Khan (or any other human for that matter) can’t ever ensure that none of his thousands of candidates/supporters are corrupt or criminals but only thing that can be ensured is independent institutions working without political interferences and that is what’s happening in KPK.

Also no one said police in KPK is angels, i think i mentioned very clearly that it might well be a mistake and could be incompetency of police, what most important is though if this arrest was made due to political interference or not.

The mans statement doesnt implicate the police. He said that he was pressurized by the mob. The police merely did their job. It would be nice if once in a while folks read the whole news before posting jibberish in response.

when a case is registered against some one , judge has no option else than to send arrested one to jail . He didn’t apply for bail . And bail application in murder always from a higher court
