ANP Chief for bringing FATA within NWFP

Judging from your writing, one thing seems very true that is mentioned in this article that "Punjabis have deep contempt for Pashtuns" just like they did for Bungalis.

AND judging from your user name (lapak), it seems your very anti pakistan. is't it?

Re: ANP Chief for bringing FATA within NWFP

hmm i dont know. appears to be a good decision since an intergraetd govt might create harmony. anyone more informed could voice the problems with the merging.

As a Pakistani Pakhtun (South Afghanistan haha) I find this article to be full of lies of another Indian dreaming about Pakistan’s break up. Why do you people care so much about Pakistan and Pakhtuns anyway? Indians delude themselves in believing that their country is a superpower yet are OBSESSED with Pakistan, a smaller regional power.

The author of this article knows jack about Pakhtunkhwa and probably is another armchair jockey spewing his anti-Pakistan vitriol. So let me set this monkeyboy straight:

  • For all this talk about Pakistani Punjabis being in the army, historically Punjabis have been outright docile to India. Let’s not forgot the Lodhis, Sher Shah Suri, and Ahmad Shah Durrani baba and how they swooped into India and smashed the local powers. Remember Pakhtun = Afghan (the ethnicity).

  • The Pakhtuns of Pakistan voted for Pakistan in 1947 in a referendum, so what is this BS about Nehru “not accepting NWFP into India” has the author forgotten the treatment that Nehru received in Pekhawar?

  • There is no such thing as North Afghanistan/South Afghanistan. Pakhtun areas are between the Amu darya and the Abasin.

  • While the Durand line will always be a soft border and one day (enshallah) we will have be joined as a people, do not forget that Pakhtuns in Pakistan are more than twice in population than in Afghanistan. Once this political mess is resolved Af/Pakistan will once again be join in a confederation where the Durand line will be made irrelevant.

If anything you Indians should fear any changes to Pakistani sovereignty, Punjabis and Sindhis (both Indic peoples) are nothing when compared to the Pakhtun war machine

If you are referring to me as Indian, then for your info I am a Pashtun from Northern Pakhtunkhwa and certainly not an Indian. However, I think you may not have lived engough among Pashtuns of Pakhtunkhwa.

Anyway, I posted the link for information only, I am not adovcating what the article suggests but I think there are lots of facts mentioned in the article there are some non-facts as well.

Your article source is Indian. As for you, I could care less who you are, since you have added nothing to the discussion.
