I didn't know she was Shamoon's sister! :O Really liking the color combo of pink and yellow, very elegantly styled and suits her a lot. Makeup is on point and not gaudy, guess she didn't go to natashas salon! Nice to see Javeria there, but afzal should have been there too I agree hahaha!

(Kyunkay Anoushay, Javeria & Shamoon, dono ki behen hai. Main ne kaheen perha tha kay Javeria ki mother ki Shamoon kay father se shaadi hui thi to Anushay peda hui thi. Javeria ki mother & Shamoon kay father, dono ki doosri shaadi thi. Iss liye Anushay, Javeria ki behen hai apni mother ki taraf se aur Shamoon ki bhi behen hai apnay father ki taraf se. Baad main Shamoon aur Javeria ne bhi shaadi ker li aur Anzela peda hui. Ab Anushay, Anzela ki khala bhi hai aur phupo bhi. :))

why is there so much confusion around this. Anooshey is shamoon's half sister AND javeria's half sister.
Shamoon's mommy married Javeria's daddy. Both are kids from their respective parent's previous marriages.
Then the stork visited Shamoon's mommy and Javeria's daddy and Anooshay was born making her the half sister of javeria/shamoon
So technically shamoon and Javeria are not related by blood hence the parents decision to marry them off and take care of them in their old age. But even though they aren't related by blood, their relationship was too complicated to begin with and the parents made a kichree out of it which was further complicated when they divorced. so now:
1. Their daughter has a khaala who is also their phuphoo
2. The daughter's step mom is also her step mamee
3. If javeria re-marries, her husband will be her daughter's step-father and step khaloo
4. Their daughter's daadi is also her step naani
5. Their daughter's nana is also her step daadaa
6. Shamoon and Javeria have to always be around each other at family occasions because though not blood siblings, they are technically siblings.
Why do people complicate relationships?

because Abaasi is also the last name of Shamoon’s dad who is Javeria’s step dad. many people adopt their step parents last name

Those outraged by the khichree should perhaps consider how it is not wholly too different from first cousin marriages where the husband and wife consider each other as siblings their whole life and may even have lived in the same house. Most cultures and religions regard cousin marriages as immoral, incestuous, illegal and entirely unacceptable. Going by that Shamoon and Javeria's union made better sense than marrying a blood relative.
