I saw the video. The system is based on breaking down of water into its constituent elements hydrogen and oxygen. fine but when he said that he traveled long distance just on one glass of water. It means that this kit is a mere show off and contribution of hydrogen produced for running the car is close to nil certainly much below the acclaimed 30%. Let us dig deep a bit.
one glass of water i.e., 250 ml = 250 gms approx.
Gram-Moles of water = 13.89
Hydrogen produced = 13.89 gram-moles = 27.78 gms
Energy produced from combustion of hydrogen = 3.94 MJ (based on 141.8 MJ/kg source)
Similar amount of energy is produced from cng (assume 100% methane) = 71 gm (55 MJ/Kg source: same as above)
Now imagine how much distance can you cover with such tiny amount of cng in your car cylinder.
Moreover, it is like
Water + E1 —> Hydrogen
Hydrogen combustion —> E2 . E is energy in some form. certainly E1 > E2 . so actually, you are pouring energy in some form from your own pocket and then getting back a fraction of it to do something is either simply dumb or fraudulent. Also the dream of ‘hydrogen vehicle’ is still at experimental / research stage and there are problems in the way (Hydrogen Vehicle)
The dilemma is that our media representatives don’t know even the abc of science and even lack common sense.
and brainy folks are misusing their skills to fool people.

Aside from anything else, the car uses a battery to break the water down into hydrogen and oxygen.
So the root source of the energy needed is... electricity.
Congratulations, Mr. Fraudgineer. In a country that already can't make enough electricity, you propose electric power as the solution for auto transport.

Media is monkey when discussion is on science.
About verification from a scientific organization, one such inventor, Waqar, was recently asked to come to NUST for verification of his claims. But the guy did not show up on the promised day.

Unfortunately for Waqae, it was not the students but the actual scientist who was waiting there. 
His names is, Dr Atta was actually waiting there to investigate. Damn it!

This matter would not have gone that far if even an average scientist or engineer had examined the car itself instead of asking questions. This guy even claimed that many scientists/engineers have met him and got convinced. If this is true then investigation should be made as how did they (examining scientists) got that far. It is clear that we are self-sufficient in bozos.
On another front, these people should be told of the short comings/ errors of their ideas but they should not be grilled to that level that nobody even dare doing anything innovative.
