I got my progesterone test done in the morning, i will probably get the results tomorrow. But theres an update, i am having very light spotting. Its strange, i have never been this regular in my cycle lol, i was supposed to start my periods on 18th of this month (according to 30 days cycle) but they didnt. I was tested on day 21 of my cycle i.e. 8th may and i had not ovulated at that time. I dont know what is this. If they are periods then its a good news that i ovulated on my own but probably late in the cycle, my reports tomorrow will let me know. :halo:

and its not the first time that it has happened. Whenever i am waiting for my AF, the day i go to the doctor.....ta'raaan....i get AF the same day :p now thats funny....even my hubby makes fun of it lol

It has changed to light bleeding, dark brownish (sorry to sound gross) and my doc hasnt called me back with the results…i dont like this

You definitely didn't ovulate?
Have you had any tests down that could have caused it?

^ I was waiting for the progesterone blood test result that i got done yesterday but she dint call me with the results. I got this test done before on 8th may, at that time the levels were low showing anovulation. May be i ovulated after that? But i read somewhere that you can have periods even if ovulation doesnot occur which got me thinking that is anovulation cycle of 37 days possible?
No i did not get any other tests done. I will call the nurse in the morning to ask about the reports and inform her of my update.

pink brown spotting can be lots of things, so it's hard to be sure.

If its my AF, then what will be my cycle day 1? The day when spotting started or when the bleeding starts?

I guess then its my day1 today as i am having light bleeding! I should call the nurse tomorrow for scheduling the appointment for day3 ultrasound for clomid. Good for me, i didnot need provera!

all will be ok inshahallah i also had somewhat similar problem i had low progestrone level n was not ovulating regularly but had regular periods i also took clomid. on 3rd dose of clomid i got pregnant how many doses u had? all the best my prayers r wth u mAy ALLAH help u :)

spotting is not day 1. it is when you start to bleed, that is day 1.
and you can still have your period and not ovulate. I'm pretty sure.
Yes, please call your RE on your CD1. This is because you should have a full bladder Ultrasound on Day 3, as well as empty bladder and blood work. From that they would prescribe you the drugs/treatment.

So i went for my baseline ultrasound today. Bleeding is still light but it is periods according to the doctor as she said the lining was thin. So it is definitely the real thing. My progesterone levels returned and they were very low. She saw the ovaries and both of them had small follicles over them. She has prescribed me 50 mg clomid to start with. I will begin it on sunday inshAllah. Then i will go back to her on wednesday, june 8th for the ultrasound to see how the follicles are growing. I really hope that this dose works. Please Allah ji help me and guys pray for me!
