Another unknown soldier loses his life while pseudo-Mullahs and pseudo-liberals continue their daily point-scoring exercise. I wish I could send some of the pseudo-liberals to man the checkposts and fight the pseudo-mullahs there.
*MIRANSHAH: Security forces killed three militants who were trying to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan on Saturday, but a soldier also died in what appears to be the first direct confrontation with militants following the September 5 peace accord between the government and pro-Taliban elders, said the army. “Three miscreants were killed on Saturday in an exchange of fire with security forces in Dwatoi, North Waziristan,” said the army in a statement posted on its website. The statement said that in the ensuing gunbattle, a junior commissioned officer was also killed. The army gave no details about the identity of the slain suspects. At around 1pm, three vehicles approached the Dwatoi checkpost from the Afghan side near the border. “The vehicles were signalled to stop, but they did not, and the men sitting in them started firing at security personnel,” said the statement. It said that one of the vehicles was completely destroyed, but the other two succeeded in returning to Afghanistan. “Security forces have launched a search operation to trace the two vehicles that managed to escape,” it said. *
