^ really? you means these countries are the examples of peace and harmony right now? Iran is supporting the murderous syrian gunta which is killing thousands of its own citizen. A war that brings an end to these misfit regimes will be a blessing to the people of these countries.

But I doubt if USA has the resources, interest or ability to prosecute any such intervention regardless of who gets elected.

Afghanistan war will be the longest war that the U.S has ever fought, it is 10 years and still counting with no victory in sight. I don’t think that the U.S is in a position to get stuck into another long war irrespective of who wins.
