Does anyone know of any free software from which kids can learn to read and recite the Quran word to word? i desperately need it for my younger brother…There are a lot of sites on the internet which do teach the Quran and give lessons but they charge a lot plus we also i have internet problems i.e. it doesnt work properly at times and if one day or two the internet doesnt work he might miss a lesson or so.
someone help please…
Re: Another Request
I dont know of any (as yet)
but one other option could be to get tapes with the Quran on it and go through it with your brother. I know Al Huda sell tapes that are particularly intended or the purpose of tajweed and the general proper recitation of the Quran (yaani har lufz 3 baar repeat hota hai).
Or maybe u could buy a CD with the whole Quran loaded on it and go through that with him (this way, u will never need to depend on the net)
Re: Another Request
The masla is he doesnt have any understanding of the arabic words and if he listens to the tapes then he might think he knows it all but when it comes to reading he wouldnt be able to read even a single word..other wise i have the whole quran on tape with english and urdu translating as well as on the recitation..but he needs to look at the word and learn how it is recited like the mulanas back in Pakistan teach kids.
Re: Another Request
:salam:
Buy Yasurnal Quran from www.islamicbookstore.com and teach him from it. Don’t get into all the fancy Vol1 - XXX type of books. Those are meant for conversational Arabic not to read Quranic arabic. And don’t get any advice from Arab people because they just do not understand what it means to teach a child to read Quran without understanding it.
Re: Another Request
I know one called Norrani Qaida, it starts with the basics ...meaning alpahabets of arabic, both in Arabic and english. Excellent starting point.
