Ok i’ve heard that if you kill yourself, you are going to go to hell…first of all is this true??? And second, is this for everyone, i mean does it change, because of reasons, or circumstances???
Khuda kisi ko kis par fidaa na kare…
Agar kare to Qyamat tak judaa na kare…
To kill oneself is a sin...but it doesn't automatically condemn you to hell.Shirk is the only sin that will do that.As for killing oneself...it will be counted as a sin weighted with other sins aganst good deeds to deicde if someone goes to heaven or hell.In the end it depends on the mercy of Allah.
There are some things said about khud-kashi that soul of that person won't rest until qiyamah etc.I don't know how true they are.
But one thing is for sure...khud kashi CAN take you to hell as that is a major sin to do.One can still go to heaven after doing khud kashi BUT word of caution...this can count as a HEAVY sin and can also ruin your chances of going to heaven.
Hope this helps.

Yeah thanks Ahmed Bhai it does help....so what if you commit suicide but not actully die, will you still get punished for that is that also considered like a big shirk????
And when you say their soul won't be able to rest, do you mean like they become a ghost or something, and stay on earth?????
Khuda kisi ko kis par fidaa na kare.....

Khair if you try and fail then you are alive you always have a chance to repent when you are alive.
Can taking your own life be considered shirk?I am not sure but don’t think it can be.Maybe if someone can point out why that would be shirk I could learn something too but I am almost certian it is not shirk.
As for soul not resting, well that part i don’t know for sure anyway. It’s just that i’ve heard that someone who commits the suicide repeats the proccess until qiyamat. But see i don’t know how authentic this is i.e. true or not I don’t know.I don’t believe in ghosts BTW.
Killing ones self is a SIN.
Quran says:
“And do not kill yourselves. Surely, Allaah is Most merciful to you. And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, We shall cast him into the Fire…” [al-Nisa’ 4:29-30]
No matter what psychological pressure or extreme distress befalls him, the Muslim cannot go ahead and kill himself, because he knows that the punishment for that is Hell and a painful torment, as the Prophet(pbuh) said:
“Whoever throws himself down from a mountain and kills himself, he will be in the Fire of Hell throwing himself down for ever and ever. Whoever drinks poison and kills himself will have the poison in his hand, drinking it in the Fire of Hell for ever and ever. Whoever kills himself with a piece of iron [a weapon] will have that piece of iron in his hand, stabbing himself in the stomach with it in the Fire of Hell forever and ever.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5778).
What ever the problem or case that might compel a person to kill him self should be dealt with prayer and dua and patients.
“And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).” [al-Talaaq 65:2]
“Allaah will grant after hardship, ease.” [al-Talaaq 65:7]
