Inshallah, everything will be ok…

what on earth is going on? :bummer:

Re: another quake?!?

Tectonic shifting is going on. Anyway, this one is in a very sparsely populated area so mass deaths are unlikely. The quake happened in the Hindu Kush, a mountain range formed by 2 continental plate pushing against each other. This kind of area is always vulnerable to quakes... the plate movement builts up huge amounts of energy which periodically is released through an earthquake.

Re: another quake?!?

minor signs of qiyamat are appearing…

Don’t worry insha’allah things will be fine!

Re: another quake?!?

Yes i heard about this a little while ago. Happened in the Hindu Kush region and North-East Afghanistan. Tremors were felt in Delhi and in some Pakistani cities like Peshawer, Lahore and Islamabad. Also in Balakot and Muzzafarbad areas, which r already devasted from the last one :frowning: But they r saying that since this earthquake was not as deep in the earth’s crust, that it shudn’t be as damaging as the last one. It struck early this morning (Pak time) and magnitude was 6.7. May Allah protect everyone over there, Ameen :flower1:

Re: another quake?!?

Looks like Fiji outdid Pakistan. They had 2 earthquakes today to our one.

wo powerful undersea earthquakes struck within seconds near Fiji on Tuesday, and officials issued a tsunami alert for the local area. No damage or injuries were immediately reported.

The first quake, with a magnitude of 6.3, occurred at 3:16 p.m. about 150 miles northeast of Vanua Levu, the main tourist spot in Fiji’s chain of islands, at a depth of 18 miles, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

Seconds later, a magnitude 6.8 aftershock struck nearby, about 470 miles west of Apia, the capital of neighboring Samoa, the survey said. The second quake was much deeper, at 102 miles beneath the ocean floor.

The Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a bulletin that said there was no Pacific-wide threat of a destructive tsunami but that quakes of the size measured Tuesday could cause damaging local tsunamis.

Nilesh Kumar, technical officer at Fiji’s Mineral Resources Department, said there had been no reports of any tsunami, and no reports from anywhere in Fiji of shakes being felt.
