I know this forum is flooded with questions about at home peels and has inspired my lazy ass to try it . What i can not decide is which one should i go for?
My issues are dull skin, discoloration around lips, chin and forehead, dark neck and really dark circles around eyes.
The research i have done shows that lactic acid would be best suited for my my needs. Experts please tell me if i am right.
Re: another peel thread..........which one? lactic or glycolic.
Lactic! Paheli has posted tons about it in other threads! check out her posts!
Re: another peel thread..........which one? lactic or glycolic.
^ pheudonymous is right. Lactic would be your best choice. On a side note, glycolic peels are not meant to be applied close enough to the eyes for dark circles! Make sure the acid doesn't get too near your eyes, in your nose, or on your lips. Please do not forget to use sunscreen when going out.
For in between the peels....you may also want to consider a cream with glycolic acid. I've used Alpha Hydroxy 12% Glycolic Soufflee but there are others that're good too.

Paheli can you please tell me the strength i should go for? i have normal to combination skin that and slightly sensitive. IS the cream also available at MUAC? Do i need to buy the PH solution ofr the peel?
Re: another peel thread…which one? lactic or glycolic.
^ For lactic: 55%.
No, no need to buy pH solution. Personally, I use nail polish remover to wipe face before peels. If you have a toner that doesn’t have any type of acids in it…that will work too. Afterwards, use baking soda to neutralize.
The cream I used is a different brand and I bought it at Ulta. At MUAC site, this is the cream the would be equivalent: Glycolic Acid, Glycolic Acid Pads, Glycolic Peels, Glycolic Acid Exfoliator
On a side note, highly recommend you try out their Argan Oil.
If you order from them, make sure to use the 15% code listed under their discounts section.
