I’ve been a member of this wonderful world for ages but for one reason or another- studying, travelling, working, etc- haven’t really had the chance to post anything of substance to these pages! However, I’m hoping that that’s all about to change! Though I’m now busier than ever- I’ve recently moved from a very multi-cultural place to a not so very multi-cultural place and am missing everything about being a second generation Pakistani! I've moved from a lovely place on the outskirts of Manchester to someplace waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up north! It's really nice, only thing is, I'm the only brown person in the WHOLE city! Well, that's what it feels like anyway!
I did join AGES ago but got distracted with uni, feeling the need to travel and then HAVING to work! Been dipping in and out of GupShup though- it's taught me SO much about everything! Lol! Moved to lovely, old, historic city of Carlisle- on the border of Scotland!

Seriously though, how do I include emoticons in my replies?! I'm confused!
click on the ghosty looking white smiling face just above your reply box and a drop down list will appear just click on the emoticons and if you want more of a selection then scroll down to "show all smilies" and click and you will get quite a selection to choose from..hope this helps :)
