Is not that amazing that our last natural disaster, earthquake of 2005 (which was the biggest disaster till now) also happened in Ramadan.

i remember the 2005 quake i was at skool giving my exams and my chair was going here and there and i said to my friend who was sitting behind me that dont disturb me yaar im doing my paper

Only 2005 earthquake and now this flood happened in Ramadan. I am sorry if it appeared that I was saying otherwise.

I visited muzaffarabad, abbottabad and such areas in 2009 (on our way to Naraan) and the destruction was still obvious there four years after the earthquake… I saw people praying in a shaheed mosque (there was just one wall standing)… The roads were a mess… Houses/shops etc were destroyed… There were lots of tents everywhere… We went into a house and requested them if we could offer namaaz there and then we talked to them for a while… They were 3 sisters living on their own after having lost their parents and other close relatives in the earthquake… It was scary, it was sad and it had us in tears… I was also quite angry that the area hadn’t been re-developed after the earthquake… :hinna: Allah mian Pakistan pe reham farmaye, Ameen.
