Nothing new but guys help me understand, why are these guys not getting punishments and were let off the hook just because they resigned? Same thing happened with Jumshaid Dasti (PPP) and Nazir Jutt (PML(Q)) and others?

If a thief returned all the stuff he still get punished for the act, why not these bigger thieves punished by courts? Shouldn’t they be punished for willingly submitting false information/supporting-documents on official forms in fact a step ahead, Election commission should recover all the expenses of by-election from them.

and now because this term has been removed, these crooks will contest the election again and reach the parliament because of jahil us (i.e awam)

I agree, this guys should've been slapped with heavy fines/punishment.

In case of 'resignation, why do we need to have elections, shouldn't the seat be given to next best candidate in last election? Just curious.

but by-elections are due because they are considered "resigned" and seats becomes "empty". Court should rule their election invalid only then 2nd best candidate can be give the seat.
