Another Look at Freedom.

mmmm…

I don’t know? Do Iraqi people deserve freedom or not?

Are they up to the American view of freedom?

Should they have the right to vote their hearts? Do they have that right?

Or not?

Think they choose to live beside Saddam HUSSEIN and his rulings? The everyday people? Do you think it’s what they want? Everyday people…not upperclass..or dominate people? Just folks.

Whatever they want is THEM to decide ie the IRAQIS and not US of A.
At least they should have the freedom of not accepting Bush's dictat.

tell the moron to think about blackamericans first and then give so called freedon to iraqis

Dear AAG, for the US of A to go dictating every country is gone beyond stupid..... it really is upto the iraqi people as to what they want !

..but do the iraqi ppl have the ability to decice what they want and make it happen...there is a reason saddam is a dictator..he disctates..people's aspirations dont mean jack.

Now they can probably have a mass rebellion kinda like the french revolution there, although the potential toll on life would be very high, but they can make it happen.

Now if someone else just does it for them, would'nt it be easier? and even if US is looking at it for its own benefit, the iraqi ppl will get a benefit too.

what do you think?

AAG this whole fiasco never has nor ever will be about the iraqi people....despite what bush and other administration officals chime about. That whole bit about ridding iraqis from thebutcher saddam is bs..and is only beinf done to get approval from majority of americans for this wat. This whole thing is about greed and financial freedom...not physical freedom. Saddam will only be replaced with another puppeteer with the only difference being that he will be more positively receptive to US policies. The sad thing is that an average iraqi will always suffer.

Well, there are people trying to rise up against their government - one that happens to be a Marxist junta, one closer to home - Venezuela. What have we done about that one?? Not to mention the dozens of other countries with despicable leadership. Liberation is an invalid argument for Iraq. There are so many regimes that we still support, not counting anything in the past, that are deserving of removal it makes the freedom and democracy argument sound like nothing more than a ludicrous front for a self-image of righteousness.
