Unfortunately in the US, where Indian shops in Edison sell brightly colored outfits in polyester with thick zardosi work.
Fortunately I go to India quite often - twice a year at least, so am not dependent on s/k's that were stitched by the darzi a decade back.
But thanks for the info, when I'm next in London I shall ask you for the intro to friends sis.:)
Thanks for the replies. Well I gather that both countries are good in their own way. I think in fashion we both could learn a lot from the other.
Karina, I would love to have some nice Indian outfits from Delhi, infact I did not ask from where the outfits were from. Do you know of any online ordering sites ?
Shahreen, I did not buy anything as the stitching thread was coming out from the salwaar and I did not find something suitable for me there. But I have bought some nice Indian dresses from another lady. :k:
