Security agencies in Mumbai went through some tense moments on Thursday when a passenger on an incoming flight from Delhi **created panic by claiming that there was a bomb onboard and that the plane be diverted to Pakistan. **
The incident happened at around 11.45 am when the Indigo Airlines flight 6E 181 was on its final approach to Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
Suddenly, **one of the passengers, later identified as one Sanjay Malik, created panic amongst the passengers and the crew by claiming that a bomb was on board and it will detonate unless the flight is diverted to Pakistan. **
The captain of the aircraft immediately alerted the ground controllers about the threat, throwing Mumbai airport into a tizzy.
The Quick Response Team of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was alerted of the emergency. The Indigo aircraft was then given priority landing and as soon as it landed, the QRT men stormed the aircraft and detained the man.
**The CISF later handed over the man to the Mumbai Police; who are now grilling him about the motive behind his actions. Malik’s antecedents are also being thoroughly checked. **
Unconfirmed media reports, quoting CISF men who took part in the operation, are claiming that Sanjay Malik had said, “I am a Pakistani and I want to do something for the country.”
lol… Even if they had gone to Pakistan or the plane had been blown up, Indians wouldnt have done anything about it beyond their usual bluster. So in the end, what does it really matter!!!

India should spend its resources on providing better life-style and eliminate poverty... but i guess poverty is the only thing which can keep the existing bunch in power.

Great, coming from somebody, whose country is living out of other countries money but still spends a lot on defense which are useless to counter terrorism in its country or prevent people going across the border and commiting acts of terrorism. We will mind our own business if your countrys police do their work and stop exporting terrorism.

Hanibal the day your rulers can muster enough courage to do the bare minimum which is land reform thereby empowering poor come talk to us.. ^^ I am well aware of the problems we have in Pakistan, i am also aware of the fact that who is responsible behind it, there are lots of internal and external factors. You should worry about ur problems, where your country is suffering high time not only with poverty but is controlled by bunch of Mafias...

You are kidding right? Land reform for Pakistan's impoverished; whatever happened to bharat's. Poverty is not an abstract notion across much of South Asia but nowhere is the desperation of the underprivileged and especially your beloved 'farmers' as bad as it is in India. You seem to be quite blissfully unaware that thousands of them have committed suicide in your country-and many others are teetering on the brink. What would you suggest for them: a healthy dose of anti-Pakistan pesticide.
