Rape happens everywhere, to all different social and economic backgrounds; we’ve established it’s not just poor women who are victimized. But to use a horrific crime like that to say that “Oh well we’re not the only bad ones” is just wrong. It doesn’t matter how much you hate the messenger, in this case Danda; why can’t you concentrate on the issue at hand? Everything always becomes an “Us vs. them” battle. Do you really think a woman who’s been gang raped, had her whole life ruined really feels better that the same thing is happening to her South African, Indian, Chinese, etc etc sisters? You guys seem to see it from a political point of view, I"m just trying to see it from the poor women’s perspectives.
