1.)This umbrela is practical only when there is NO WIND. The moment wind picks up, it will be very dificult to walk and/or control this thing, as it will wrap around you, or even act as a sail.
2.)In heavy rains;Since there can't be any kind of wipers, the visibility will be so poor that it will become a safety issue.
3.) the clear plastic creates a chamber. Even in moderate wind, the negative pressure inside the chamber will be so high that it will tear off the plastic. A heavy duty plastic will make it too heavy to carry it around.
Well, that's my opinion anyways...LOL
Back to the drawing board.
