What I am saying is for some reason the Pakistani institutions that produced Abdus Salam and others are not given their due credit.

So what is stopping you from trumpeting those achievements? You can write a blog an editorial, create a website, promote them and let people know. Lets not wait for others to come and trumpet it for us. You live in the west and have freedom of speech, so exercise it.
Who would disagree with that! There are several American universities with their branches in many Muslim countries: NYU, Cornell, Michigan State, Rochester Institute of Polytechnic etc. But the point is why should they? Is it not our responsibility to educate our kids to be responsible citizens? If you are going to wait for someone else to come change your life for you, you will wait forever.
I know it is a cliche, but every one of us has to decide for ourselves, if we want to be part of a problem or part of a solution. Cynics and crybabies are not part of the solution.

Muslim communities need to take more responsibility but at the moment, mafias of all types control things and they’re loaded with guns.

Zaytuna offers a summer Arabic intensive program . It’s worth investigating for those who may want to learn Arabic in a hurry. It’s an year’s worth of credits/material compressed into 6-8 weeks of summer I think.
