He needs to be in Aus in order to visit the night clubs there, after all he will get "injured " in the first hour of the test match. I would rather lose a test match than have Shoaib back in the team.

have you heard the aus. player interviews? they singing praises about how m. asif is so good, that "young leftie", gul danish ajmal etc. they DO NOT want to face akhter, i can assure you. they are scared of him, specially ponting. it is no secret, Ponting and gang has a problem playing express pace.

Yes that spell was special.Still his average against Aus is 36 which shows that he is not that consistent to produce such spells.

He was there in Dubai for the ODI series against an Aus B team.He couldn't make any impact.I don't think any one is scared of the current Akhtar except his teammates.
I don't think he will be able to bowl express pace,he is not 25.

Do u really believe this guy can serious pace (consistanty 150km/h +) now ? He may be able to bowl fast but it'll remain at 130-140 which is hardly anything to trouble batsmen on good batting pitches
Last time he bowled he wasn't faster than Aamir and Gul
And Aamir already clocked at 145km/h + and that with a good line (thanx to butter fingers he went wicketless)
What we need is a Fit and confident Gul and a Fit Kaneria to have a go at the Aussies surely no Actor

Have u seen him bowl in the UAE Series ??? If not go back and watch … If the guy could bowl half of what he talks he could be a handful but oh boy try to find a series which he completed without breaking down to some injury …
Get over it he isn’t test material anymore coz he simply isn’t able to bowl 15-20 Overs a day … Go back and find out when he bowled that quota … good luck
