Although i dont watch Geo News, neother any of the talk show impress me to watch it, but recently one of my facebook friend pasted this news on his wall, so i checked my wall and saw that the material provided in it was fabricated.
Now average Pakistani knows that Photoshop can be used to fabricate lies and if ones knows a little bit about computer then he will also know how to identify it.

Now this is the breaking news run by Geo that Terrorist identified for Karachi Sea View terrorist attack was from the “Jamia Banoria of Site” and they showed the ID card of the Shoaib ur Rehman. Now this ID Card Footage has several clear evidence to confirm that it is a fabricated or tempered image.

As you can see that the name, father’s name and the identifcation written on the ID Card is in the Arabic/Sindhi Script while the rest of the card is written in Urdu Script. But the card issued by NADRA are in one script only. They can be either in Sindhi/Arabic Script or Urdu Script. Moreover the Karachi residence are given card in Urdu script.

Secondly you can see clearly that font size for the name is different than the one used in the rest of the card

Now the reader are intelligent enough to know that what is the intention of Geo by this fabrication. We all, including me are making so much noise against the corruption of politicans but i think we should also stand against the wrong ful reporting and fabrication of evidences by our media.
Meanwhile i searched and found that Jamia Banoria also issued a statement. although i dont think Geo is ever going to do a retraction on his news.
Jamia Binoria issued a statement, stating that the seminary has nothing to do with the terrorist and there was no record regarding Shoib being student of the Medressha.
I hope any lawyer take up this case and all other previous cases of fabrication by Geo News and go into court and sue them for billions of ruppees for tarnishing the image of Pakistan. If anyone can do this i can help him further. We should rise against all sort of corruptions.
Image shot is taken from the youtube video thats why its not very clear. But if you will observe it after pausing the Youtube link you will reach the same conclusion that it is a fabrication.
