I just got this email so i decided to share it with other muslims

The new AMERICAN Quran
A dangerous trick
A new Quran is being distributed in Kuwait, titled
“The True Furqan”.
It is being described as the ayats of the Shaytan and
Al-Furqan weekly magazine has found out that the two
American printing companies;‘Omega 2001’ and ‘Wine
Press’ are involved in the publishing of ‘The True
Furqan’, a book which has also been titled ‘The 21st
Century Quran’!

It is over 366 pages and is in both the Arabic and
English languages…it is being distributed to our
children in Kuwait in the private English schools!

The book contains 77 Surats, which include Al-Fatiha,
Al-Jana and Al-Injil. Instead of Bismillah, each Surat
begins with a longer version of this incorporating the
Christian belief of the three spirits. And this so
called Quran opposes many Islamic beliefs. in one of
its ayats it describes having more than one wife as
fornification, divorce being non-permissable and it
uses a new system for the sharing out of the will,
opposing the current one. It states that Jihad is
HARAAM. This book even goes as far as attacking Allah,
Subhanahu wa Tahala! All this is poisoning our
children at approx. $3.

Brothers and Sisters pleae make sure you forward this
email to as many people as possible so that we can
stop this dangerous trick. Please tell everyone you
know and may Allah reward you.

What makes this more interesting is that looking at Amazon, this book is bought by people who have also bought other anti-Islam books.

Through Amazon, there are 2 people selling used copies of this book. Both people are specialists in used books about Christianity.

On the internet, the book's also being exalted by anti-Islamic Christian websites.

I found through google a couple of quotes on a Christian site from the writer:

"The purpose of The True Furqan is a tool of evangelism, because so far we have not found a breakthrough way to reach the Muslim world for Christ," Al-Mahdy said. "We have tried medicine, schools, books, movies and many other methods.

"There has not been a classical Arabic translation of the Bible that Muslims would consider reading," he continued. "They make fun of the one translated into their spoken language because they consider it of lesser quality." Quality and style of language is a source of pride for Arabic people, whose classical written language is one of the most difficult in the world. Muslims claim the writings of the Qur'an are powerful as relayed in perfect classical Arabic, a rich language of words which often have no equivalent in any other language to fully express their meaning.

Now, The True Furqan not only presents the gospel message in classical Arabic, but moreover, it seeks to become a key to reaching the Muslim world for Christ by answering a 1,400-year-old challenge from the Qur'an:

"Say: 'If the whole/ of mankind and Jinns/ Were to gather together/ to produce the like/ of this Qur'an they could not produce/ the like thereof, even if/ They backed each other/ With help and support'" (The Holy Qur'an, Surah 17:88).

"The Qur'an challenged the world to produce a book like it," said Al-Mahdy. "In fact, the Muslim world bases its entire religion on this challenge. But no one has tried it because they would be beheaded or banished. Even Taha Hussain, a well-known Egyptian scholar and writer of this century, was threatened with death if he attempted it. No literary document has surfaced in 1,400 years as a response to the challenge."

Until now.

Al-Mahdy said The True Furqan will be a breakthrough to Muslims not only because it answers the Qur'an's challenge, but because it also questions many of the Qur'an's teachings, as well as presenting the gospel message, all in the language Muslims revere -- powerful, perfect, classical Arabic.

"Muslims will want to see a book that accepts the Qur'an's challenge," said Al-Mahdy. "Then the evidence presented against the Qur'an will shake their foundation. They will seek a more solid base.

"And the gospel message in The True Furqan will provide it."

One thing that I do find surprising is the claim that this is being distributed in schools in Kuwait, given that Kuwait requires all schoolbooks to be vetted by the government.

Additional note by me:

Given that the Quran does contain a challenge that no-one can write a book like the Quran, we should not be surprised when kuffar take up the challenge in their efforts to defame the Quran. This book is little more than an example of one of those efforts.

We should instead focus on proving the ways in which this book fails to be like the Quran.

dr anees did accept the challenge in one of the debates with ahmed deedat and said he will produce a book like Quran....

the book is available for reading on a site....

read it and really felt like laughing at the effort....
its like i take a certain story, change the names of the characters and places etc, and then say that i have written a story of the same nature....

I m still feel comfort after such an efforts of non-muslims to bring fake Quran into our religion.. Reason is that Allah has promised himself for the copyright and care of Quran. So how can one or a group of ppl can change quran with there own ascent..

Atleast muslim should proud on this top that Allah will save the book from being changed himself men can never

Christians have even stooped so low as to deliberately change the Bible to convince people of its message... i remember reading about one missionary group who some hundred or so years ago couldn't - despite their best efforts - bring a particular native tribes people to accept Jesus as their saviour... they returned with a doctored Bible in which the ancestors of that tribe were held responsible for Jesus' death on the cross... guilt ridden men and women soon professed their love for Jesus
