For all the talk of “Pakhtuns want to join their brothers in Afghanistan” put here by people who are predominantly pakhtuns living outside the so-called NWFP … Pakhtuns in the so-called NWFP have always voted with their overwhelmingly for parties without seccessionist tendencies.
Be it the PPP in the past or the MMA today - Pakistan’s Pakhtun population have always predominantly expressed political support for those parties without interest in joining Afghanistan.
So I know exactly which country my Pakistani Pakhtun brothers are happy being part of
