How many of you believe that you are totally anonymous on GupShup and does that affect what you post? If you thought others within your social circle or community knew your identity, would that impact what you posted?
For myself, while I’ve no intention of announcing my name and address to everyone (and I’m not under the fallacy that it matters to others), I do live by the principle, that if I were to become famous one day and someone wanted to write my unauthorized biography, digging into my life shouldn’t yield comments posted by me on an online forum that I can’t live with
online like here on gs we get subjects. reallife we have spontaneous natural chat. my views on subjects are the same in reallife as online, but for spontaneous chat i might be a lil more conservative online then in reallife.
I am not at all annonyous. Many members know my real name and I am in direct touch with (Phone calls and emails)with many.Even today I talked to one of the respected members(who happens to be one of my closest ,dearest and sweetest friends) on GS who is from a European country.
One thing I would like to tell you abt GS is,it has evaporated thae sense of national ,religious social and cultural boundaries from my mind.
I can not reveal the names of my friends since I do not want to reveal their names .
Let me tell you one thing.I can not think abt any other discussion site other than GS.It has become a part of my life.
