I noticed those too. Tried to run an antivirus program on my mac cuz I thought it was my computer but sadly no. I guess GS needs to make revenue somehow somewhere. Maybe thats how they do it?

why does a mere 5% of less of this page used to support itself annoy you? ads help run this website. for the longest time you all have enjoyed free ride. I am now experimenting with a few ad providers. expect to see these ads here and there.

Do you get paid by clicks or views? I mean, if I use some sorta thing to block it, will you still get paid?

^ its not fair to my advertisers if I encourage anyone to click. just let the ads be displayed. if you find anything interesting, then use your own judgement whether to check it out or not.

^ Yes. Internet sites have to be able to pay for the expenses including running the cost and maintenance and improvement(s).
My first reaction was, what is this, then I said, it's OK. It makes sense.
Green is one of my favorite color. Martians are green. ;)

The complaint would be with the doofus who thought it smart to create ads like that. Like someone said above, it makes it seem like there is a virus on the computer, making you want to not click the green buttons.
