How/Should I bother to fight this? I have been dealing with an annoying facebook vendor for some clothes. They were supposed to be here last week, if not latest yesterday but due to things on their end they only sent out the parcel Wednesday (even though they said they would ship it Monday). It was supposed to be here today and have been waiting all day, finally a message on the DHL tracking showed up saying it wont be here till Monday because its bad weather today (hardly) and theyre closed for the weekend. The vendor has been annoying to deal with and Ive already gotten into so many arguments with them but the one nice thing they did was ship the parcel with only my partial payment because of all of the problems on their end they havnt been able to send me the bill (its been like a month of asking for the final total becasuse they still hadnt quoted me on four of the pieces.) So anyways, either way, my stuff isnt coming on time because I needed it for this weekend, tonight actually and tomorrow. I had told them a thousand times that if they did not ship this parcel out by Monday then I wanted a refund because it will be no good to me, I needed these clothes for certain events. On top of that, they did not send me any photos, nothing of how the items looked because it was to much hassle for them as it didnt make “sense” to take photos of all of their casual orders since they were dealing with 50+ orders a day and it would be impossible to take photos, EVEN THOUGH they promised my photos were coming, in two days, tomorrow, tom morning and then all of a sudden this statement came. Its been a run around and I am not really afraid about getting my money back or anything because we dealt through paypal and I feel secure with that but now that the clothes didnt come, and I have a feeling something else might go wrong when it does, for example outfits not looking like what they were supposed to. Do I have a right to ask for my refund? They do not believe they did anything wrong and did ME a favor by still shipping the parcel even though I wasnt even able to see it. They said that I “TOLD” them to ship it with out photos and I argued telling them um NO you left me with no choice! It was either wait for photos or risk delaying the parcel because of delays on THEIR end. These guys have been SO unprofessional and I completely regret even getting in contact with them. They were angels to deal with until I sent them payment and everything and then its been a chase after that. Anyways, what do you guys think I should do?

Not sure.
But I had a parcel that was with the courier company for a few days that only left Lahore this Wednesday early AM because of the lack of flights prior. And last week we had a guest staying with us who flew back to Pak; she was supposed to take a connecting internal flight from Karachi but had to stay there for two days as none of the flights could land in their destination.

Hmmmm, but is that something that I should be so understanding of? If they had shipped it out on time as supposed to, then we'd have fewer problems. I am extremely turned off by their attitude and handling even though they have been at fault but I have been understanding as can be. I am now at the point that I don't even care? Its been to much of a run around, who has the energy and the time? Now that my events will pass before I can even get my clothes, am I being unreasonable for just wanting to be rid of this issue? Should I just return the clothes and ask for a refund? I can see I am not the only person on their page whose had a problem, there seems to be a few people ranting and raving on their page. Some of the comments have been deleted and some of them are still there.

Go through Paypal for a (partial) refund.

you do have the option to stand your ground.....if they did not deliver when they promised they would then they have broken the contract already.
do keep in mind that they there truly may have been extenuating circumstances that kept them from being able to make good on their promise.
perhaps you can come to some discounted agreement since they did perform the work and you will be receiving some benefit from the clothes even though not at the time that you needed them.

thanks muzna, i think i am in agreement with you. the parcel ended up coming, late, but it came, but with only three shirts in it and missing the other pieces. there was some mixup on their end and they automatically offered to the ship the rest of the stuff this week to honor their promise so that was a first, i ddint need to even chase them down for that. so i dont think im going to be making to much of a fuss about it. last week it just looked like they were leading me on by saying, its going to be ready, its going to be shipped, your pictures are coming, this is coming, that is coming etc then they werent following through so i was thinking to myself, great, i might get jipped here but they ended sending something, ill be it, not the whole parcel, but something. they keep saying theyll be sending the bill "tonight" but its been weeks, that still hasnt happened and im sitting here wondering to myself, do these guys even care? lol but once they do, im just going to pay them the rest minus the second shipping charge. dont even think they'll ask for that (hopefully). my problem this whole time was with their customer service, they kept making empty promises to deliver and then would just disappear, that was really starting to annoy me. and yes you are right i will still be getting some benefit out of the clothes, so thats why i dont even feel like negotiating a discount or anything. just have learned my lesson with this particular company. they just need a lot of time to deliver it seems like because i think they are mostly used to dealing wholesale.

customer service has and will always be the determining factor between successful and unsuccessful vendors.......any vendor that does not believe this is only fooling themselves.
there's the old 80/20 rule.......its the 20% of the customers that are dissatisfied with services that will make 80% of the noise.

NOPE. but you gotta love their customer service. i have many more of those snap shots but i’ll save the drama. second parcel was supposed to be here on tuesday (jan 22) but that was only when they realized themselves that nothing had been shipped out when i started harassing them again? and now apperently it only left today?! but be sure i can DEF tell you that my package is not getting here tomorrow morning (Friday) as hes saying and according to the tracking was shipped out Thursday and only left Pak a few hours ago. I would say avoid them if you dont want to go through a headache of chasing after them. Yeah you save a couple of bucks but after having to go through experiences like this, that dollar amount does not matter with the amount of headaches and run around. this is all that arrived in the first parcel, 3 pieces out of 10 pieces in total for my package. and it came late, i missed the event i needed it for. and i didnt get a response to my last email to them.

oh and that yellow isnt supposed to be yellow (2nd shirt), its supposed to be a cream/off-white and that grey in front isnt supposed to be so dark, its supposed to be a light grey colour shirt (1st in front)... but whatev's at this point. the one at the bottom was fine, just a little big (but that isnt the worst thing in the world) atleast it can be taken in.
