I’m sick and tired of watching these lame ass paki singers lip syncing their way through shows on television. I mean wtb? You’re out there, sing dammit! I don’t want to see how well you can make stupid gestures with your hand while walking back and forth on stage. Sheesh! And the audience too a bunch of effing retards. It’s bloody clear they’re lip syncing throw a friggin’ shoe at them or something!

It is acceptable in Pakistan to lipsync. It's nothing new overthere. And the audiences are not bunch of retards. They know that the performer is lipsyncing but they don't consider it t be a bad thing.

For instance I just saw Atif Aslam from Jal today performing for Omar sharif’s new show inauguration or something.
And he was lip syncing for sure, the songs were being played right off the album.

You are right, but audiences in Pakistan care more about the celebrity standing in front of them on stage than the actual song. Different culture, different mindset.

I voiced a similar concern before a Pakistani singer who told me that they have to lipsync in shows which are being recorded for tv because thats the only way they can ensure audio quality.
You're complaining about tv shows whats worse is going to a concert and watch the singers lipsync! A few of them like Avish are dumb enough to ask the dj to play track number 5 or 7 or whichever!
