Most of the space on these Gupshup forums is used mainly by Announcements and Titles and some space for no apparent reason. On top of that sometime moderators open few threads apart from the announcements and kept them locked for some reasons. It gets quite irritating to see these announcements again and again. Sometimes it takes time to find where is the recent thread. I suggest that we should have an Announcement Forum and a quickie link should be added to save this space.
If you don’t agree then could you please think of some other option that can get us to the threads easily.
Announcements are there for a reason. Some are only for a short time, for a specific reason. Others, like Policies etc, are there so that members (especially new members) can familiarize themselves with the expectations here. These policies are sometimes specific to a forum, and you won't find them in all forums. Similarly information about custom titles and avatars are of use to members in all forums, hence you will find them in all forums to help members out.
Re: Important threads. These are designated as such by the moderators. Typically they will be unstuck once they have completed their usefulness.
If you don't like Announcements or Important threads, thats your choice. Just scroll down.
We have made efforts to reduce the Announcements from each forum. We will try to consolidate them here in the Feedback forum, so that they can be useful to someone who has joined new.
