The annual Urs of Sayyedi wa Mawlayi Amir al Millat, Ghawth az Zaman, Muhaddith e Alipur, Abu’l Arab, Sanussi e Hind, Qibla e Alam, Pir e Tariqat, Rahbar e Shar’iat, Hazrat Sayyedina Al Hafiz ** Pir Sayyid Jama’at Ali Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddidi radhi Allah anhu wa quds sirruhu ** is taking place on 12th August 2001 from 10 a.m. at the Amir e Millat Centre, 21 Shakespeare Street, Sparkhill, Birmingham B21.
Ulama and Mashaikh from all over the UK and abroad will attend under the leadership of Muballigh e Islam, Pir o Murshid Sayyedi **Hazrat Mihr ul Millat Hafiz Qari Pir Sayyid Munawwar Hussain Shah Naqshbandi Jama’ati damat barakatahum al aaliya. **

All Muslims are invited to attend and gain thawab for “mercy descends when Allah’s saints are mentioned”

... hain ye eik shaksh ka naam he..guiness book men hona chaheye...even our beloved Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) had a short name.. wese wuz hos qualification and is this heredetry silsalas of piri faqiri ? are these people hafiz - e -Quran or mufti ? did anyone wrote tafseer -e- Quran ? or u just respect him for any other reason... though ur fully justified to do whatever u like dude but why should we attend that ceremony ?

Naqashbandi isn't a sect
its a Silsila(Chain) of Tariqah.

And Sisila is just a specific system to make a link between you and Prophet(Peace be upon him)

Its like Electric wiring in our homes

It starts from one point, travels around in our homes linking big and small bulbs, fans, fridges washing machines etc

then through electric meter to main transformer(11KV power in UK)

That trnsformer joins 220KV power lines which come directly from power station.

What do these guys do in 'urs' ??? pass under some kinda 'heaven' gate which assures them of being rewarded Heaven when they die?

Did Hazrat Jama'at Ali shah sahib ever said that you should hold this kind of ritual every year to honor him? Maybe somewhere in his books or other articles? NO, yes?
