our nikah and ruksati were 6 months apart. during the 6 month gap we didnt talk even once, no communication due to both sides of the family being pretty strict (even though we were nikahfied)..so we celebrate our ruksati date as our anniversary since technically that was when we started talking to eachother and living as a couple…
