Anniversaries

Re: Anniversaries

omg, that sounds AWESOME!!! ok, mama is now on a steak hunt. WHEN the HECK is my anniversary again???? Is it TODAY????

Re: Anniversaries

LOL yeh filet mignon is the best cut out of the cow. With mushroom sauce it tastes awesome. Oh and American beef tastes different and good so it should be a treat.

Go skiing! book a log cabin on the mountains and spend the weekend there. One of my co-workers is doing that for her wedding anniversary with her husband :)

so far my past anniversaries have been boring too lol. i always want to do something creative and romantic but some how it doesnt happen. my anniversary is in a few weeks too though, and im determined that we're gonna go see the Bootleg Beatles lol, im the fan, but as i usually organise things, thought i'd try and make hubby a fan too!

here are some ideas for you though -

a picnic, at home

themepark trip

boating(its very cold i know but you could wear lots of layers :) )

a trip to place/s where you have nice memories

a treasure hunt with small gifts or love notes along the way

photos done from a professional studio

you could buy a gift pack experience, eg going up in a hot air balloon, go-kart racing, etc. WH Smith sell them!

hope you have a sweet day :)

Re: Anniversaries

My parents don’t celebrate. I however remember the date and often cook for them. Let them eat in peace and often because they think that the us children are ‘busy’, they will put on an old DVD and watch it.

One year, I remember Mum liking this diamond set in a jewellers window. My mum has never asked for anything and it was the first time I actually heard my mum say she liked something. 2 days later my dad bought it for my mum. She tried to take it back:cb: but papa had told the jeweller to not allow a return without his permission.

Us kids do the same thing … we cook for our parents on their anniversary date. Try to make their favorite dishes and set the table for two.

And …Omg that was so sweet and cute of your dad to do  I LOVE that he told the jeweler not to allow the return… he knows his wife well!

Re: Anniversaries

call me weird, but if you enjoy the company of your spouse then why the need to do something "different" or "special"? if you have to do something different to enjoy them, then one should go a bit deeper and wonder why...

I don’t know…I’m just in the mood of partying these days. I’m changing. I’m 25+ . :hinna:

someone mentioned hot air baloon and go cart racing.

Upside, inside out she’s livin la vida loca
She’ll push and pull you down, livin la vida loca
Her lips are devil red and her skin’s the color mocha
She will wear you out livin la vida loca Come On!
Livin la vida loca, Come on!
She’s livin la vida loca.

Sara! Don’t you feel that spending each year of marriage together is an achievement and it is important to make this day memorable by celebrating?

Re: Anniversaries

Yes enjoying each others company is all that matters , however , a change of environment does contribute to creating new and special memories :@:

Re: Anniversaries

^Why not. :(

i am still waiting for my 1st wedding anniversary.. its on February :D

**thats actually very sweet! :k:

at least they involve you! my parents leave us home and go out! lol!**

We've spent our first three anniversaries with family. I cooked a meal last year for the family and it was enjoyed by all. We only spent it with family to spread the happiness amongst family.

Next year inshallah we'll do something a bit different.
