i still wear a simple payal with jean capris and american women do like to stop and ask me about it, where to get one, and my guy friends said that and toe rings are super cute on girls in the summer. however i am never going to be comfy with a toe ring. so i think in general why not wear one?
a lot of shoes these days are gladiator like and the part that goes around the ankles have like designs or beads hanging… or tassels.

I love anklets. I have an anklet fetish. I got a pair of them from Dubai last year and I wore them on a daily basis....even to work. And I'd get compliments on them as well. Then they broke :(. So, then....rather than pay a jeweler to fix the hook (which would cost a lot), I went to Joann'es where you can buy silver and gold clasps and hooks to repair jewelry (several in a packet) for much cheaper.
And the ice thing about spring and summer is that you can wear shoes (sandals) and pants (capris) that show em off :) I wear mine on both feet.
I like toe rings as well...but haven't seen one that I really want. I prefer anklets over toe rings though.
anklets remind me of jail anklets, i know its really weird but thats what they remind me of, so no i wouldn't wear them
The only thing i like on my feet is nail polish

I recently started wearing one that I own, mine is amurkan style though, beaded with a seashell.
In my opinion, accessories such as anklets are always in style. What type would look good (desi/western) would depend on what you're wearing.

I luuv anklets- they look so pretty and feminine! I was in Pakistan a few months back and got 2 gold ones made. The one which is less dressy I always have on and the other one I haven't worn yet as it isn't really casual. So usually I have a gold one on but will occasionally switch to silver if it goes better with my outfit.

It doesnt matter if their in or not. I adore them, I have so many, Simple ones to the huge chunky ones and they MUST have the 'chun chun' sound.
I remember i was in pakistan once and it FLOODED and i had my 'chun chunz' on and i was swinging in my garden IN the rain with my payal splashing against the water. It was loveeeeeeelyyyy, Very bollywood :)
I love them, especially for summer! I only have a few but I really want some more, I'm definitely going to go hunt for some next time I'm shopping.

^ RV..i told my mom to buy me a gold anklet..we went to the jewelry shop...then the man show us bracelets...they were fit on me...i buy one and it was beautifull

Don’t wear jangly ones…or delicate metal chain ones. I prefer wooden beads or simple leather ones…pseudo surfer chic.
yea anklets are fun to wear i have a few silver ones and one gold one i usually wear the silver ones (one at a time) in the summer with jeans and and the gold one looks good with shalwar kameez at any function i don't think anklets really go out of style the only time you probably can't wear them is in the winter but other than they look good with just about anything :)
