I was reading in the paper today that he’s going to head a rally in London calling for the Queen to convert to Islam, wear a veil and turn the Royal Palace into a Mosque, I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry or be angry.
The EDL have organised an anti-Muslim protest in response.
Why don’t the police arrest him?
Is he an agent put there just to malign Islam and demonise Muslims?
Is he put there to fuel anti-Muslim sentiment so that we can one day all be deported with public support?
Is he part of a plan to dehumanise Muslims before a Muslim holocaust just like the Nazis did with the Jews?
This prick and his group do nothing except exacerbate racial and religious tensions in this country.
If his group is terrorist or has terrorist connections like the papers claim why not send them all to Gitmo instead of giving them free reign? Surely condoning terrorism doesn’t come under the heading of freedom of expression?
It would be doing us British Muslims a favour, most of us just want to make ends meet and have cordial relations with our Non-Muslim countrymen but we have to face hostility and hatred, and our lives are made harder by pricks like this guy.
It’s scumbags like Anjum Chaudhry and Omar Bakri who are a stinking heretical minority but they give all of us mainstream British Muslims a bad name.

It’s scumbag like this who give right-wing newspapers the chance to portray Islam and Muslims in a negative light so they can brainwash people against us witn their oversensationalised and overexaggerated articles against British Muslims.
I get so depressed reading anti-Muslim articles everyday in the papers.
It's so awkward when I'm with Non-Muslim friends and colleagues and something negative Islam-related comes up on TV or Radio.
Makes one so angry, ashamed and depressed all at the same time.
What will our countrymen think of us?
What does the future hold for our community? Will we be deported to Pakistan where we wont quite fit because we're born over here? With the political situation there I wouldn't want to go back.
Will we have to choose between being British and Muslim one day?
anjem's problem is that he doesnt do dawa(invite to islam) but speaks on behalf of people on what they should do and very provocatively at that. in my limited knowledge i do believe this is against islamic advice. even dawa is not allowed where the recipient is likely to make fun of the suggestion. moreover britain is not a muslim country, and no way do we muslims want to change this. we are not opportunist thieves.
although some of his international political opinions argue the islamic point very well, anything he says about britain is insulting
obviously the danger with this is that he sells group using his political opinions them takes the group on wrong turns to unislamic activity
Wisodm (Hikmah) or intelligence (Aqal) hasn’t even touched this group from far.
Most their supporters would be teens or people in their 20s, you rarely see older people in their rallies on the news or in the papers.
I think they’re being left uninhibited to pursue their activities because they nicely give the impression that all forms of political Islam = terrorsim and extremism, whilst the only acceptable group of Muslims (the so called moderates) are the ones who don’t have political opinions (take feces lying down and agree with the goverments foreign policies on everything) and compromise on the fundamentals of Islam.
They’ve hijacked genuine Muslim causes to rally support and then they discredit these causes by making loonatic demands like “impose Shariah on Britain” which are in no way supported by most British Muslims, and their hateful rants do nothing but increase hatred, hostility and fear of Islam and Muslims.
I’m a British Muslim and I’m also against the wars (as are the MAJORITY of Non-Muslim Brits) and the occupation of Muslim lands (through puppet-dictators and otherwise) but I feel no need or desire to blow myself up, fly a plane into a building or start targetting innocent civillians, nor to condone any of these things.
This group gives the fascist right-wing in this country fodder, it gives them another chance to generate hatred and hostility towards Islam and Muslims.
This group and others like it only hurts the cause of Islam, they don’t help Islam or Muslims in anyway.
I think British Mosques need to come out on the streets and have anti Al-Muhajiroun protests and more anti-terrorism marches in general.
We all need to do our bit to show our countrymen that we're also British and we reject and renounce groups like the Al-Muhajiroun.
Al-Muhajiroun, BNP, English Defence League etc. are destroying this country, they are all essentially the same filthy scum in different packaging.
I miss the days of my childhood prior to 9/11, everyone had cordial relations with each other back then, we had English friends, my best mate was my next door neighbour whose family were renting our spare house out, I'd take my other neighbours dogs out for walks and baby sit her baby, everyone respected Islam, we could be British without compromising our Muslim identity... Now Paki and white kids never play together, my younger cousins have no white friends, people look at us funny in the buses and in the malls, I don't even know my next door neighbour... Things are really messed up now and getting worse, sighhh!
Nosherwan, these morons like HT, mohajiroun, ghuraba etc were around before 9/11 too but no one bothered with them for the most part. It has been a failure of our community to not confront these groups. These punks harassed regular muslim students on university campuses all over england and were booted out from many campuses, they however continued to spread their tentacles in the community and pick on impressionable and often maladjusted youngsters. I think its avg muslims who will need to counter these thugs.
I think devout/practicing Muslims are going to have to stand up against these groups to show that Islam is not extremist or terrorist.
Mosque leaders and parents need to play a more active role in preventing their young, naive and gullible children falling into the hands of Al-Muhajiroun and other similar groups.
