I notice this a lot in desi family weddings/gatherings. It’s sad but I immediately experienced it here with my initial posts. It’s like some of you have these deep seated presumptions about people that don’t share your culture or disagree with you. Why not give a person the benefit of the doubt? Again, this is not a generalization. I am speaking from experience. If someone comes here with a genuine issue, why does he have to be a troll or someone trying to create problems? Why not address the issue without throwing insults and accusing the op of being a troll?
Re: Animosity towards westernized desis or non desis
I'm not sure what you're talking about. If you can elaborate, maybe then we could shed some light on it.
Re: Animosity towards westernized desis or non desis
^someone called her a brat, she thinks the person who called her a brat is a desi.
Re: Animosity towards westernized desis or non desis
^lol ^no this goes beyond just someone calling me a brat. This is an overall feel I get when I go through a lot different threads. It's just not the ones I started.
