I am aware of the significance of “Qurbani” … would anyone here enlighten us about the significance of this goat sacrifice to get God’s blessings …

They can ward off TTP cadres ,by sacrificing goats.

**none whatsoever...its mostly preferable in indo pak because of the following reasons:
-goats are more convenient
-widely available.
-since goats can be domestically raised in villages and towns so its a bit more affordable
-goats have no stigma attached [beef is considered a poor man's food in indo/pak while its more expensive in the west lol]
-quality of meat is better
btw, lamb is equally good but since it has some kinda smell so its not preferred in indian sub-continent ****
