I think the big attack ants would be Black Army ants or Soldier ants. I love ants, in the mountains we always knew when the rains would come becuase the Ants would start to march from the low ground to the higher terrain.

I remember in our childhood it was famous if you put ant in a bootle and closing the cap put it under ground, this will bring rain
